Designer of supercritical CO2 cleaning machine
Dense Fluid Degreasing, designs and manufactures “press-button” machines for cleaning, degreasing, de-crosslinking and decontaminating all types of metal and/or polymeric supports, including textiles.
This cleaning technology is a real alternative to organic solvents such as trichloroethylene, perchloroethylene and dichloromethane. It is also an effective alternative to hydrocarbon or modified alcohol based solvents called “A3”. Supercritical CO2 replaces aqueous-based solutions (water + detergents).
This innovative and cost-effective cleaning and decontamination technology has already proven itself in the medical device, textile, recycling and mechanical industries.
This environmentally friendly process is particularly well suited to the cleaning and decontamination of implantable or reusable medical devices.

Supercritical CO2 serving several industries
Medical devices
The cleaning and decontamination of DM with supercritical CO2 outperforms the leachate cleaning used in clean rooms until now, allowing to divide by 4 the operating costs and to divide by 10 the treatment time.

Textiles
The supercritical CO2 allows you to extract the sizing oil from the core of the fiber. You will effectively replace degreasing with perchloroethylene or de-sensitizing by leaching. It avoids any risk of tissue shrinkage.
Recycling
The solvent and diffusion properties allow CO2 to clean the surface of any metallic material generated during machining or to extract a polluting chemical molecule contained in a polymer matrix. Supercritical CO2 allows for efficient recycling of rare or precious metals.
Mechanics
TheCO2 process is particularly suitable for degreasing -and particles removing of complex parts with blind holes, through holes, cavities or for mechanical assemblies. It also allows the recycling of machining and screw-cutting oils.

Innovation at the heart of the industrial approach
Dense Fluid Degreasing innovates by proposing an eco-designed machine for cleaning and decontamination of metal and polymeric parts for the industry.
At the time of REACH, this green and environmentally friendly process is recognized by several organizations, CETIM, CARSAT, AGENCE DE L’EAU, as a serious substitute for toxic, dangerous or polluting solvents: chlorinated (perchloroethylene, trichloroethylene, dichloromethane), A3 (hydrocarbons, alcohols), fluorinated (HFCs, HFEs), laundry detergents,…
In close partnership with the best experts from CEA, CNRS, CETIM and AIR LIQUIDE, Dense Fluid Degreasing ‘s vocation is to open up access to this technology to industrialists to offer them an economic gain, a competitive advantage and an unprecedented health and environmental record.
